HeritageBank of the South, which recently announced the purchase of five Park Avenue Banks including the two in Statesboro, has hired a new regional president to lead the southeastern Georgia expansion. |
Gary Johnson, previously the chief credit officer of Sea Island Bank in Statesboro, has accepted the position of southeast Georgia regional president of HeritageBank of the South. Johnson’s region will cover the two branches in Statesboro, as well as the locations in Baxley, Hazlehurst, Reidsville and Collins. (read more at albanyherald.com)
