Georgia's UPS in top ten for brand awareness

Small- and medium-size businesses rank United Parcel Service Inc. among the nation’s most recognizable brands, according to a new survey by American City Business Journals.  Atlanta-based UPS (NYSE: UPS) ranked No. 3 on the 2010 list, its same ranking in 2009. ACBJ cited UPS' "strong commitment to sustainability, further brandishing its image.  The UPS Store also made the top 25 separately, landing at No. 11 on the ACBJ list, up from No. 15 in 2009.  Columbus, Ga.-based Aflac Inc. (NYSE: AFL) dropped out of the top 25 and landed at No. 32. (read more at Albany Business Chronicle)
