South Georgia PRSA Chapter Hosts “Leveraging Your Social Responsibility” Thursday

The South Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will host “Leveraging Your Social Responsibility: How to Integrate Community Engagement into Your Organization’s Public Relations Strategy,” ‪on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.‬ The event will be held at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts, located at 527 N. Patterson Street, in Valdosta.
 
The keynote speaker is Curt Fowler, President of Fowler & Company and Director at Fowler, Holley, Rambo and Stalvey. Fowler firmly believes that business is the most powerful tool for social good in the world today. He is passionate about helping leaders build excellent businesses and better lives for themselves and the people they lead. Fowler has an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School and has strategically worked with companies like Cox Communications, Verizon and Sara Lee. He is a syndicated business columnist, public speaker and executive coach.
 
At the event, Fowler will also lead the following panelists of local communication professionals in a discussion on best practices for maximizing community engagement for corporate and community benefits.
